During this pandemic, I've opted to take on many initiatives that I typically wouldn't do or pay for. I spent a long time researching the best way to sharpen my own lawnmower blades before ordering this kit. Easy to do and a great buy!! To get started, all you need is an electric drill, a flat table with an adjustable clamp (or a vise) and some equipment. I liked the sharpening stones and the fact that I got 3 plus the balancing gauge. This seller's price was competitive for the kit's contents. IF YOU WANT TO SAVE MONEY AND KEEP YOUR LAWN CLEAN, THIS IS IT!! And to the vendor, keep it up!!!

This is one of our favorite lawn care products. A huge grinder would have cost us hundreds of dollars, and we didn't want to hire someone else to do it. Grizzly Lawn Gear has created a fantastic product. Even the packing is superb. They also have the best customer service I've ever encountered. Can't wait to see their new offerings.

I viewed a few tutorials on sharpening blades and they seemed to dismiss this product. They suggested an angle grinder. I tried it but couldn't keep a steady angle. All of the films emphasized the need of balancing the blade with a good balancer. So I used the grinding wheel to finish what the grinder had started. There is a learning curve to control the tool. It's easy to overgrind the blade corners when working from the outside in. However, it held a great steady angle with each pass. I balanced the blade on the balancer by grinding the heavy side. My grass was the first cut of the season, so it was thick and tall. The mower sliced like butter and had no vibration. So overall I was pleased with the results and the value for money.

Since this was my first attempt at sharpening my blades, I had to get used to using this equipment. I eventually got it. As confirmation that this device worked, I injured my thumb when reinstalling the blade and needed four stitches. When my hand recovered, I took the mower out to test it, and it chopped the lawn beautifully! This thing worked perfectly, and I am quite satisfied. My blades are sharpened and I highly suggest it (just wear cut-resistant gloves). Thrilled.

It sharpens perfectly. I've tried numerous tools and this is the finest. It outlasted others I've bought. Because my mower blade encounters rocks, it soon dulls and requires expensive honing. It could be used for more than a lawnmower. The best part is that you get gardening gloves and a blade balancer to ensure even cutting. will buy again
