I was hesitant at first, but it does exactly what it says. We used this hood/cover to clean 4 filthy Mitsubishi mini splits. The hose was long enough and the product is top notch. Due to its durability, we will need to clean the units more frequently. We love it and strongly suggest it.

It's very easy to put up and so handy. No nasty water spilled. I merely removed the covers from my units and glued this dealie on. Then a water sprayer with 70% water and 30% vinegar. Then spray, scrape, rinse, and repeat until satisfied. My before and after photos!

This product accomplished its job. Allows me to clear mold off my small splits and rinse them without wetting the walls!! It's not easy, but this product was worth the money. Just be sure you fasten the drain into the bucket and lay some towels on the floor under the small split to catch any dripping water.

Today was my first use. My mini-split was filthy. It's well-made and works perfectly. The top of the shroud must be tucked behind the unit or it may fall off. The quality will not disappoint.

This is a requirement for micro split ac/heat pump owners. It collects water and cleaning solution during cleaning. We had neglected the wall heads for four years. It was horrible. Each heating and cooling season, this product can clean the unit. Beautifully built and long-lasting! The only little issue is the drain hose curling up and coming out of the waist water bucket. A simple fix.
